Making Special Kids Feel Special
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is a national, registered charity with a simple objective: to help children in need.
Ronald McDonald House Charities supports Ronald McDonald Houses throughout Canada and other registered charities that help improve
the physical and emotional quality of life for children with serious illness, chronic conditions and disabilities, and their families.
Since its inception, RMHC has provided more than $42 million to help nearly half a million special needs children in communities
across Canada. Today, RMHC partners with more than 1,800 children's charities, from Halifax to Whitehorse, to help kids lead
happier and healthier lives. For more information, visit www.rmhc.ca.
The cornerstone of RMHC, the 12 Canadian Ronald McDonald Houses play a vital role in
communities across the country providing a home-away-from-home for families of children with serious illnesses being treated at a
nearby children's hospital.
Ronald McDonald Houses across Canada, each independently owned and operated, receive funding assistance for House construction, extensions and equipment from RMHC.
